due to heavy recent rain,back foot well really wet only on passenger side.sure door and window closed propley,any idears wear coming from and how to stop  cheeers

Lift the carpet there plugs,grommits that might have come loose dislodged or have a look from underneath might be easier then it should become clear

had same problem, check underneath the car under the foot well, the carpet lugs designed to hold the carpet can disappear, i had a hole in the floor!

Sealed it with some arraldite, can see the hole here, and where its wet:

Does the 2.2 have the same scuttle drain problems as the 2.5  2.6? If so check under the pollen filter see if the drain is clear
