Try Admiral multicar policy, if you have several cars and several drivers you can get a great deal.

Or it can be more expensive... Sure Admiral just pluck a figure out of the air ::) ::)

Swiftcover were best for both of us... I pay less than that and I'm only 32. Although I live in a very low crime area :y

Hi
Can I make you all jealous.  I've just renewed my insurance  -  £124 fully comp, protected bonus.  But then I'm an old git, live in a rural area and insure through the IAM.

 ;D ;D ;D
When I renewed mine as an 'old git' I finally did it for £327 fully comp from the Cooperative Insurance.
:D Prior to that I was with Sainsbury's and they sent me a renewal quote for ----- wait for it -----£1423.21 :o . Yes, I had given both the same personal details too, Naturally I telephoned Sainsbury's to see if there had been an error but they said that it was Fortis who underwrote their insurance and that Fortis set the rates. As far as I am concerned both Fortis and Sainsbury's can shove it where the sun don't shine.
My motto now is to check who underwrites the insurance policies and stay clear of those underwritten by Fortis, even though it is always well hidden in the small, tiny print!
Its always worth shopping around and now I rarely stay with the same company for a renewal unless it is a decent renewal quote.

Oh how I wish mine was that cheap - it cost me £650 to insure the 2.5TD this year, and that was mirroring 10 years NCB over from my other policy!

That's almost as much as I paid for the entire car..

I renewed mine a mont ago, £300 fully comp 30k business use miles pa, protected NCD and legal cover. Most places were ~£450 but aviva wer giving 2 months free . WIth a bit of haggling got it down to £300 :-)

For limited mileage on the TVR I use mannings remarkably cheap .

Suggest giving both of these a call.

Next closest on cost was the RAC.

My 2 penn'orth - move insurer every year
Admiral seem to own most of the 'cheap TV' insurers now anyway
I moved from Berks (had neighbours) to Cumbria (Next neighbour 4 miles across the lake) - insurance went up "Its on Postcode sir and yours is near Lancaster" - moved back recently and it went up "its on post code sir and where you are moving to is higher risk"
Hang on says I, this is the SAME address I moved from??
"Best to cancel the insurance and re-insure sir. Its cheaper"
Sure enough, cancelled, reinsured over web, saved £140
Direct line - around £400 notes - and I Am not over 40

I use adrian flux Brokers. I have a standard 2.6 cd but with a full irmcher kit on so that makes it a modified car to virtually all insurers despite it being bought. painted and fitted by the dealer.
With AF it comes in at about £260 fully comp PNCB wife and me to drive.

Try LV - Liverpool Victoria.  They beat Swiftcover by some way for me.  I think it was £254 last year (October).

Old, full no claims, rural address, clean license, off road parking, fully comp, £150 excess, £75 windscreen excess, I'm the only driver.

And they let me pay monthly. :)
