Hi guys,

Can someone explain how an O2 sensor would fail and what sort of life span they have. Also is their anyway to check them?

Only thing i saw listed on a site was the V6 ones should last upto 160k

Thank you, I read the link several times. It made
sense to look at the exhaust and manifold for any leaks.

I tightened everything up and bingo!!

The emission light went out and it seems ok.

Many thanks, that has saved me a garage bill.

I cannot thank you enough.
