Hi eveyone, i have just brought a 1999 2.5 v6 auto, seems v-nice, the engine bay seems to get quite warm, the temp gauge is normal, the electric cooling fans are kicking in quite a bit, is this normal? as i've never owned one before.. it's done 48k (i think it's genuine) :-?
Would be greatful for some feedback

Hi Questor,
I don't think there's any problem. My engine bay does feel very warm at normal temperature. Never had any cooling problems. I suppost its worth checking the coolant level and it's condition (clean with antifreeze etc.) If not it might be worth flushing through and replacing.
All the best!

Omega V6's do get very warm and often concerns newcomers to them. They are big engines and push out a lot of heat.
Yours sounds to be spot on! :y :y
