Definately not - £2,500 is probably on the money....

With that mileage I'd say £2000. Dont like the way the seller is asking for cash only.

My only comments:

Cheap shitty aftermarket pain in the arse noisey rubbish short lived exhaust fitted.

What the hell have they done with the brake servo pipe!

Its an estate, so a small premium over equivilent saloon.

However, as M_DTM points out, nasty cheapo exhaust, and some bodges under bonnet.  What other corners have been cut...

How do you identify the exhaust type from those photos?
I purchased a 2.6l version of the same car, 2001 manual estate, cruise control, etc., 75k in gold, for £2050 on ebay 2 months ago, almost unmarked, with a tow bar & electrics, cambelt changed at 65k. I had to do the cam gaskets and breathers, but I can't believe how good it is now. HTH.

The first thing I noticed was the cheap exhaust (yet missed the engine bay bodges  :-[), not a genuine part.

SAI is gone as well. OK, no real problem but plenty of bodges there. Makes me wonder...

You can see the shine on the metal, also the edge of the pipe (the exit circle) is 'flat' and the end is not 'rounded'

Vx exhausts are double walled.

Ooh. On second thoughts maybe the SAI pipework is still there. :-/

Unlikely to work without a vacuum supply!
