Title: Steering shake feels like a bolt loose help plz :)

Hi All,

Well got another issue on the steering now, feels like a bolt loose slightly, i appreciate that the wheels need balancing but this so is making the loose feeling feel worse,

found play up and down in the n's idler and and await a new one hopefully today,

i have replaced both front shocks, wishbones, drop links, and checked all tight still,

can't see any movement in the inner or outer track rod ends, although they do seem very slack to twist back and forth,

is there any adjuster on the steering to take out any free play? there is a small amount of play but debatable if it is that causing it,

i have tried shaking steering wheel left and right and can't hear any knocking or thumping.

any ideas appreciated

After changing a lot of suspension components I would suggest a full geometry setup. You would be surprised how much wheels out of balance can shake the car.
Front balance will make steering wheel shudder and rear balance makes it seem like the whole car shudders. If both front and rear out of balance it will be horrendous!!
Don't waste your time trying to find problems until you have balance and geometry done  :y

i understand about getting it all setup but if this is something gone, i would rather fix the prob then get it set up, btw back wheels were balanced the other week, but appreciate the heads up on the geometry setup,

i'm wondering if the 2.5td steering box is adjustable as i think it feels like it has a touch of free play and would explain this feeling on mine.
