Title: self dimming rear view mirror

was the non facelift and the facelift mirror different as the one i have has a different pulg on it .  :'(

The 2 I checked (mini facelift and facelift) were the same.  I too thought they were different though...

the one i got seems to have a different plug then the wires ive found in my facelift the plug ive found seems to be flatter and the one on the mirror seems to be more square ??
not really too fussed just had a self dimming one sitting around an thought it would be nice to fit it to my cdx

does the wiring on the replacement mirror match the wiring on the door body loom? are there the same number/colours of wires?
if yes, and you're patient and like a challenge, then will a lot of care and delicate jiggery pokery it is possible, in theory, to dismantle the plugs and swap them over. :-/
i would suggest thaking the plug off the old one and using it on the new one, rather than trying to change the one attatched to the car.
