Title: Good Luck Omegatoy
Post by: TheBoy on 06 January 2008, 21:48:07
For those that don't know, out TD expert, Omegatoy, is off to start a new life in the sun this week.  I know he will remain a regular poster here, but will probably be offline for a while until he sorts out internet access in his new place.

Just wanted to say, have a good trip down, and I hope you settle in quickly, you lucky bugger :y

On a personal level, I'd like to say thanks for all your help this year, and a thanks for all the fun we've had.  I know you'll be back in the UK occasionally, but you'll still be missed by Sue and I. And missed by this forum (until you're back online), and the ABS guys...

Safe trip :y

Good Luck.

You won't regret the move so long as you don't let the bureaucracy here get you down.  The sun, space and pace of life more than make up for any downsides.

I hope you can get broadband Internet of some form. If not you might be stuck with Telefonicas dial up snail speed Internet. If you have a TRAC phone then buy a proper external modem. The cheap internal ones don't work here.

I might be in the market for your discarded autobox if I can get my Omega through its Spanish MOT this month without too much anguish!

Sounds great mate, wish it was me getting away from this drab weather! Although the snowboarding yesterday was surprisingly good fun ;)

I suspect the autobox change isn't just because you prefer a manual, but you are looking for more strength  :-X
