Telly not on. Is this the "whose your child talking to online programme?

I heard on the radio on the way home. Interesting comment was to not have computers in kids' bedrooms to help keep a general eye on what goes on online.
I won't go anywhere near places like Facebook, and I have asked friends to not even use my last name on their pages.

LOL... it started as an academic based social networking site, you had to have an academic e-mail to join (so basically college/uni) and could only see the profiles of others within your own institution.
But of course the $$$$ descended and now anyone can sign up. I do have an account but don't really use it much, it's gone quickly downhill since opening up -- I get about 10 invites to join new groups or add plugins every week >:(

The UK seems to live off of reality shows and instant celebrity more than the US percentage-wise, but I am sure that the US wins the moron race by a country mile in sheer numbers. :P
