Title: Rear diff

Hi everyone.
                 Will be looking to get a second hand Diff soon for my T reg 2.5 V6 Estate.
Can anybody tell me if i have to get one from another estate or will one of a saloon be ok and also will one of a 2.6 or 3.0 work or does it have to be of a 2.5.

Try and get one from the same engined car, different gearing may(will) result otherwise. Altough 2.5/ 2.6 are same, and so on.

There is a table in FAQ that shows facelift gearing,engines are nearest equivalent similar for pre face lift I would think.
