Title: V6 running very rough when cold
Post by: bury omega on 11 August 2010, 00:28:55
1998 2.5 being a bit rubbish when started in mornings for the last week or so, revs up and down and bloody thing stalled twice this morning whilst moving which is unique in my 20 year career of running various bangers.  After ten mins or so everything seems fine, tickover seems about the right speed. Any ideas?

Mine does this very occassionally. I think it might be down to the fact that my exhaust manifold gasket needs changing, starts rough, idles rough, then ok when pull away or warmed up. I Think it might be something to do with the back pressure. All fluids/filters/plugs changed in last month, breathers/plenum and ICV cleaned thoroughly so don't think that's the problem. What's your exhaust manifold gasket like?
