going to do a mini service.Any advice on engine oil to use.Car has done 112k and roughly will do 9k in next year.

General consensus here is that there's only one oil worth using & that is VX 10w 40 semi synthetic which is apparently dirt cheap & more so with a TC card. I personally use 15w 30 fully synthetic, but that's because I get it gratis ;D :y

I prefer VX 5w30 super synthetic which is only a little more expensive on trade card. (If there was a big price difference I would go with the semi synthetic.)
This OOF recomended service intervals (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1152655085) sums it up better than I can.

Forgive me for asking the obvious, but where exactly is the link for the trade club card?
I cannot find any mention of it on the website you are pointing to - can you be more specific please?

Bloody he'll, you've escaped the ice section, click the autobahn stormers link, top right is the info pack, click that,or this
http://www.autobahnstormers.org/club_information/Club_Information_Pack.pdf
download the adobe file and print it off, fii it in with bank details, put in envelope, fix stamp, add address on the front and post it, card will arrive in a couple of days, dd will be re newed every year for 20£ pa until you cancel.
Once you have your card go to trade club web site, and request a log in giving abs member details and number
http://www.tradeclub.co.uk/
And view tc prices and part no.s on line :y

Alternatively ask your local VX for their dealer parts code and an application form, fill it in, fax it to Luton and wait for the TC pack to hit the doormat.
