Title: Cruise Control Fitting (Facelift)
Post by: stevepugh on 15 August 2010, 22:32:09
I have a 2.2dti CD and therefore doesn't have cruise.
The How to Section says all you need is a cruise control stalk and a Tech2 to enable cruise.  is this true?  This would be a very very cheap add on.

Not sure whether you have to enable via tech 2 with the DTi.
The TD is auto enabled, in other words plug and play.

so all omegas have the bits installed to run it?  not like an old omega where you need the cruise module.
Would a stalk from an older Omega work or does it have to be a face lift stalk?

You will need the 4 wire stalk from any petrol Omega, check that you have the clutch switch fitted. Once fitted will need enabling with TechII. Worth buying new stalk from VX around £35

Stalk, and possibly tech2.

IIRC, DTi already has the clutch switch
