Title: Early seats in a facelift.
Post by: stevepugh on 15 August 2010, 22:07:59
Will Early Omega seats fit into a Facelift?  There are many Older shapes for breaking with leather and want leather in my car.

Also, would a Carlton GSi Seat fit?  they too have recaro seats and would look/feel great in the Omega.

no and er, no.

early Omega seats fit facelift, but do not have the same air-bag set-up.

Carlton / Omega A seats do not fit without some welding to the car floor to reposition the mountings

As 2woody says.

Get the right seats for your car.  I don't get this need for the horrible, uncomfortable (particularly prefacelift) leather, but if you must, buy some that are from the same era for your car (prefacelift, minifacelift, facelift)

Seat heaters are different on facelifts as well.  Not that they will work on 2nd hand leather anyway...
