In the middle of servicing my 2000 facelift 2.2CD.
Does air flow UP (from large box with drain hole) or DOWN (from grille at base of windscreen) as my new filter has arrow indicating air flow whereas the one I took out doesn't.
Would appreciate quick answer as I need to finish service soon as going on holiday tomorrow eve!
Apologies if answer is somewhere on forum but I've searched for over an hour with no success (even Haynes manual doesn't have answer)
Many thanks in advance :)

arrow points into the car

Hi Jimbob - thanks for a quick reply. I'm probably being a bit thick but not sure what you mean by 'into the car'. As I slide filter into place under the scuttle flap, should arrow be up or down? Sorry, but i can't think of how else to describe it!!

Arrow at the top where you can see it and pointing at the windscreen :y

Thanks a million guys :y I'd best get out there and try to finish off - though still got plugs and oil change to do before dark! Why do I always leave things to the last minute??

Tom, remember yours will need to be the Carbon one. ::)

Agemo - yes, at least I got that right!!
Got the oil/filter changed but it got a bit dark to do plugs - will have to get up early tomorrow :D
