Title: it lives
Post by: Knight3179 on 05 September 2010, 18:40:05
Well figured out i had put sparks on driver's side bank in completely wrong,so its running,

and it idled badly for bou a minute,so getting somewhere,

thats not bad considering not changed plugs or oil yet,
what worries me is water res was empty, put two litres in and it drank it all,
and when running for a couple minutes it seemed to be smoke coming from the water tank?

Cam cover gaskets, didn't have any water in the tank when i got it,
so probably dry, headgaskets have been done before,

cleaned all breathers so could be carb cleaner or some left over gunk just back flowing?
its not a brutal amount of smoke, just whisps,
