Title: Wing advice please.
Post by: Raymienets on 12 September 2010, 22:19:31
Was looking on Flea bay and came across a VAUXHALL OMEGA B FRONT RIGHT WING. Ad states it will fit all Omegas 1994 - 1999. Will this fit my 2003 CD Facelift thought I read they were all the same. Cheers in advance. :question

All the wings are absolutely identical, the only difference is the rubbing strip. Wings are bolt on and a doddle to do. I have never dealt with the company, but apparently you should ask for Steve and mention OOF.  :y

How do you access the bolts at the bottom?

I can't remember how to get the bottom off, but I never had a problem. Perhaps you take the plastic sill off? I hope someone here has removed one recently and will advise.

Courtesy of Welung "2 torx screws attaching the arch liner to the front bumper need to come out, then the arch liner. 3 x 10mm bolts holding the black bumper retainer then the 2 x 10mm bolts behind that. Line of bolts across the top (8 IIRC and all 10mm). Then 2 x 10mm bolts behind the sill cover, 1 x 10mm bolt at the top hinge edge from the door side and 1 x 10mm bolt about halfway up the hinge edge from inside the wheel arch."

Thanks everyone only problem with it was a slight colour variation which would be noticable on such a large panel. Anyone in Glasgow remove a slight dent LOL.
