does anyone know what all of the locking wheel nuts look like from vauxhall so i can identify what bolts are on my car so i can get the wheel off as i dont have the key?
any help or advise welcome

What year is the car?
Later ones have a better design than the earlier ones, BUT if you have the later ones, thats bad news for you because they are a pig to undo without the key. :(

Hopefully, the same as mine then. I'll go get a pic of the key. See if it looks like the pattern on your wheel bolts. Back in a few minutes.

how do i upload an image of the bolt?
-
The other type has a (I think) 8 pointed star. It also has a collar which rotates so undoing them without the key is quite a bit more difficult.

Upload the image to Photobucket (you'll need an account) then add the link to OOF, alternatively e-mail me the pic and I'll do it for you.

I dont recognise the bolt, others may do. Possibly aftermarket?
Doesn't appear to have a rotating collar on it, so buy yourself a socket which will fit on with the help of a hammer and you'll be able to undo them (provided they havent been done up by a Gorilla with an Air-Gun set to full-tilt.

If it's the 3-pronged key type (which secures the wheel bolt cover plate), I replaced mine with M8 x 1cm stainless steel Allen key bolts.
Removed the originally-fitted bolts by giving a cold-chisel a sharp tap with a hammer.
Looks better too! :y
