Title: Idle car..
Post by: lou on 18 September 2010, 12:36:06
Recently returned from Monza and yes I did a Lewis and crashed (LOL) On a serious note i broke my foot out their. On my very painfull return I have now a car that I can not drive (Left foot busted but manual car). My question is what do I need to do to keep the car in good shape for the next couple of months whilst it is not being driven.(Not in Garage)

Should be OK for a couple of months. Will probably do more harm regulalry starting it and letting it idle to be honest.

Need to keep the battery topped up - a good quality trickle charger overnight every couple of weeks.

I'd probably change the oil and coolant just before I start using it again, but then apparently I'm a bit anal like that
