Title: VEry busy today
Post by: Martin_1962 on 11 January 2008, 20:33:45
Well today was manic

We have 6 people, 3 were at two new sites both going live with our latest software.

We had one customers server conk due to timed out software, we had to reinstall the database server as the temporary one was not the same as their licenced one.

Another customer was changing their server and wanted their database server moving, and I had a credit card company moaning as I was trying to do a support call.

I HATE Halifax now!

Sounds like a normal day in the office, hence why I rarely give out my mobile number!

Will get worse soon - apparently the account I work on is 'in the red' (meaning its not making as many millions profit as they want it to), so all agency and contractors are being terminated  >:(
