Title: Differential Question
Post by: Lesopc on 20 September 2010, 17:34:06
Would i need a new, tougher Diff if i were to upgrade to a V8 LS1 when mated to a Tremec T56 6speed box???

The current part is suited to the car as a 2.0 16v straight 4 with no mods, just standard factory BHP.

you can adapt an Omega B rear subframe to fit a Lotus-Carlton diff easily.

as luck would have it, I've got the diff off the Holden at the moment, so I'll check if that would fit, too.

Nice one, this would help if it were to fit with little or no modification.
