i have cleanedthe icv and throttle body but the car is still surging it nows speeds up by its self on both petrol and gas a friend
told me to clean the breather pipes and the plenum but i dont now where the plenum is situated im rather newto all this the car is a 2 ltr omega duel fuel 16 valve an some one tell me where itis situated :-[

Mine is a v6 so will be different but the plenum is the big lump (white/cream in colour) on top of the engine that the air flows into before having the fuel injected into it and being drawn into the pots. If you look I am sure there will be helpful photographs on the OOF site.

If you continue to struggle (most of us do from time to time) get in touch with Darth Loo-Knee via the forum, he knows his stuff! ;)

The only way to really nail it is to find a garage who can 'smoke' the inlet to identify the tiny air leak which will be causing it
