Title: wind deflectors

hi recently bought these of fleabay
they never came with any fitting instructions or fixings
wondering if anyone here fitted any

I have fitted a few to various discoveries,

they usually fit between the U section seal and the frame.

Only ever seen them on one Omega (not mine) and the owner was having serious problems with closing the windows !!!

Seems the way the deflector mounted made the runners tighter, so the "safety" mechanism in the windows made them keep going back down !! He had to "assist" the windows up with the palm of his hand every time !!!

Might be just the way he had done them ....

I recently bought a set from HNO3GOH. I found I had to trim the unpolished flat edge to get a good fit inside the seal rubber & I used a double sided black number plate tape which with hindsight is a little too thick, but they fit just fine and I have no issues with the windows opening or closing. :y

on other cars you can normally wedge them in to the frame but as for the omega i was not sure because the window closes into the rubber
i think ill give the bouble sided tape a go
