Title: Bonnet stuck shut... unless you press down..

I thought this might be a common one, but a search didn't turn up anything (at all.. or maybe my Search Fu is failing me today :))

The bonnet on the new Omega is stuck shut - unless you get someone to press down on it (as in pushing it closed) when you pull the release lever, in which case it pops open just fine.

Everything is nicely greased up down there, and the release mechanism moves freely when the bonnet isn't shut, but it's not doing it's thing when it is.

I tried winding the rubber stops for the bonnet out a bit earlier (making them longer) which did nothing, but thinking about it.. I should probably have wound them in to make them shorter, no?

Sanity check appreciated :) (I can't try it until I can persuade someone at work to give me a hand again tomorrow  ::) )
