Title: oil cooler

hi all, need to know if a oil cooler from a 2.5v6 omega will fit into my  3.0 v6 thanks all gary :D

as far as I know all v6 motors use the same oil cooler :y and welcome to the forum :y :y

They are the same but don't use secondhand, its false economy  ;)

an interesting experience, the friend in parts shop told me original gm dont last long like the oem one. :-/

so I bough the oem and still using for 6 years

Lol, well my genuine one is 9 years old and going strong....the key is regular antifreeze changes in line with the service schedule. Thats probably why the dealers think the original ones are weaker.....coz the dealers never bother changing the antifreeze. ;D

probably parts may be different as the oem sold here are mostly produced in germany.. :-/

that may be correct Mr DTM for UK.. but mine was 97 and it was fully rust  :-/

anyway part supplies may differ from here to there.. but the part must be steel briefly.. :y

That was true for all V6 engines shipped from Elsmere port  :y

What you wont be able to work out is if the rust is actualy the cooler or deposits from the rusty coolant water  :y

if I can find it will take a piccy.. I hope.. but sure it was rust..
