started running bad on friday then by sinday hardly any power at all, feels like its gonna stall at the lights, misfiring
ive checked leads and plugs, all seem ok. only put on in last few months. checked breathers and all associated with plenum.i changed crankshaft sensor for 1 i have had in the cupboard for a yr and a hf. maff air sensor was renewed about 3 months ago. all i can think of is the crankshaft sensor i put on is no good even though it was ok when i took it off other mig and only 3 months use, or my dispack is knackered. do i go and buy another crankshaft sensor, or get a dispack or any other possible cause
all advice greatly welcome.
thanks, rich

it could still be from your old sensor ... unless you cleared the code errors when you changed to your used crank sensor. :-/

Clean your EGR valve ;) :y

all of those codes are low voltage faults with egr and idle air control, has the battery run low while you have been doing the crank sensor and is the charge rate ok?
-
Clean your EGR with oven cleaner and then refit with a blanking plate
-
cleaned egr and iac. cant afford to spend anymore money and cant work till i get car fixed, new plugs new leads new crankshaft sensor new maff sensor. no money left in pot.
thanks for all your help

Fitted the leads correctly?
Blanked the EGR....you only need a drinks can as a tester! :y

the misfire stopped when i put new leads on, then it just started agian the other day and now i have all this problem. i'll cut a piece of tin tomorrow and try blocking the egr off, error code 33 has gone but i have a 21 now instead but still the others.

i went out earlier and run the engine in the dark to see if i could see a stray spark coming from back of engine where dispack is but nothing.
still got
19 new cranshaft sensor today
33 vanished tonight
21 came up tonight
73 has been there since changing maff sensor
74 same as 73
57 cleaned out with carb spray
129
