im breaking a 2000 elite and was offered £20 for the rear spoiler ,trouble is i dont have clue how to remove ,i removed the rear boot trim and didnt see any nuts so im presuming its bonded on ,i tried a screwdriver but started to dent tailgate so stopped .
i was thinking if its bonded to heat the panel with a heat gun to loosen glue ,is this right ? any help appreciated

Its been done with some kind of thin wire or maybe strong fishing gut ... they are just bonded on .
I would be carefull using a screwdriver as you may split or crack it :y

cool so i was right about the glue ,never thought about wire ,thats quite a good idea thank you

I have just put a Pro-Drive on mine and there were no bolts at all .
Im sure the earlier types of Irmscher spoiler had two small bolts / screws at the end but thats irrelevent ;D :y

I looked for one for 2 yrs and couldnt find one ... now they seem to be all over the place ;D.
I dont know what they are worth , all i know was how much i paid for mine although i was lucky and found one in my cars exact colour so i had no painting issues :y.
There always seem to be people on here looking for them though :y

Just had a quick look on " the bay ".
There is a pro-drive on there going for £65 .
Someone will get a bargain if you accept an offer of £20 depending on condition of course :y
