Hmm.. by the time the first one has had a new engine, rear bumper, bonnet... :-/
And before bidding the second one, I'd want to see better pics of the "few knocks" ;D

i saw that too, but the you would need a drive-by-wire engine to replace it, which are harder/more expensive to get hold of.

IIRC, the 1998 on engines have the fixings on the heads for the coil packs, etc...
I just wonder if you could somehow put a 2.5/3.0 in there, given they are mechanically almost the same beast...

Use all the electrics off the old engine - literally just transplant block and heads? (And change the OS manifold?)

I am just wondering about the throttle and tc and stuff, since the 2.6 has electronic thottle control... guessing its a tech2 adjust for the ecu... and push the cable though the bulk head! ;D

I'd suggest journal grinding and bearings
Or use a 3.0 block, crank ect
