Title: Creaking indicator sound
Post by: SP_3.2 on 11 October 2010, 12:28:08
Odd one and I hope that I explain it right and make sense.
When I move my lndcater arm up to take a right it has a creak before you hear the tick tick sound. It sounds to be as almost a dry metal to metal contact. Not a big deal but any tips where to look would be helpful on where to look for causes.  :y :y

Thanks

Steve.

Can only be the lever chafing a bit as it enters the switch. Might be worth taking off the steering column cowling and trying a small quantity of white grease on the lever, trying not to get any in the electrical part of the switch. :y
