My V6 cambelt replacement DVD arrived this morning, so I had a little watch over lunch.
Just one quick question. Does anyone know where I can get the camshaft alignment tools and camshaft locking tools from, and how much they are likely to cost please?
With this being my first ever cambelt change, I could do with all the tools possible to help ensure the job doesn't end with a bang.
Thanks fellas.

I bought a Sealey VSE130 kit from Amazon for about £80. I would post a link but the website says it is currently down for a few minutes for maintenance :-/

cheers. I'll have a look for that. Wasn't planning on spending £80 though.

There was a bad batch of Lasers knocking around, where the crank lock was wrong.
I got my SP one from egay, around £50, but that was 5 or 6 years ago.

This should be a reasonable quality one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vectra-Saab-V6-Cambelt-Timing-Set-/220684833718?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3361d753b6
I have nothing to do with the seller.
