As above really, thought I'd ask what to remove?
I'm breaking my mv6 estate and using the engine for my gsi.
So there will be nearly everything else up for grabs.
I don't want to strip everything, just stuff that I can actually get rid of, and not be stuck with for years.

Not being an accomplice to murder :D :D

It's not murder.... More like a transplant or donor...
Then the left overs being sold on to make other people happy.

I know why your sad, but it was a good car for what I bought it for, that's why i couldn't see myself selling her, I thought I'd put the engine to good use in the vectra :y

No Worries...
She has lived longer than I expected her to :y
I will always have a unreasonably large soft spot for that car for some reason :y

Browse the for sale/wanted section and note which parts are most frequently requested.

Anyway, back to the original question..
The Engine - A good runner, esp after all the work its had - spoken for
Leaves the easy money in
Cruise control - Stalk & Motor (no pedal switch ::) )
Gearbox - AR35 - 100k approx, has all new fluid, filter, and brass thrust washer
iirc the Exhaust system is one of the last good GM ones, and in reasonable nick.
Relays, door motors etc
iirc not really saleable..
No panels worth having
Hids, need new adjusters
Airbag system - dunno how thats behaving now?
Stereo / changer - not working well enough to sell
MV6 Interior - Door cards ok, stereo surround missing clips
-
.... just take care to ensure the 'for sale' post is in the relevant section, please, rather than a scattergun approach in the wrong section.... 8-)
ta.................... :y

I've around about one hundred 'hard to sell' items on flea bay as we speak.
The easy to sell items are...
Non rusty rear doors.
Catalytic converters (£130 scrap value).
Wheels.
Suspension struts, front and rear.
Carbon trim, seats and door cards.
Sunroof motor, switch and surround.
Gearbox, diff and maybe propshaft.
Xenon light levelling sensors, ballasts.
...and whatever is left over you can auction off to the local scrap vultures, I managed to get fifty squid for what was left of my Mv6, I'd guess they got closer to £150 for it...

Thanks for the replies.
Atleast I know what to aim for now.
My main concern is the engine and wheels, anything that I get after. That is a bonus.
I'll only put up one thread in the for sale section, and I won't be listing bits for long, as I haven't really got the space or time to play with, as I work away all week :-/
