Title: 2.5 Sump gaskets fit a 2.6?

Morning chaps.

Decorating finished, and about to start ordering bits to get the Omega sorted today.

Having spoken to my local VX dealer I was told that the later 2.6 / 3.2 only use silicone sealent for the sump gaskets, whilst the earlier 2.5 / 3.0 used proper gaskets.

Not being a fan of using sealent for gaskets, I wondered if any of you chaps knew if the earlier sump gaskets fitted the later (facelift) V6's?

Also I still haven't managed to find anywhere that does water pumps for sensible money. Any help there would be appriciated.
