Thanks! :y

Don't know but he only posts to a German address.
Why not ask him? Most germans seem to speak perfect English
Looks a good price with only six hours to go.!!
-
what he's saying is they are only for models up to the facelift ie:99 i geuss the question is are pre and post facelift shocks and springs the same?? also only good for limosine due to caravan being heavier rated on the back axle springs, also he has lost the certification for these so that will be why they are cheap as without certification in Germany you get trouble but he says you can get this certification through irmscher but just another hassle!
-
I already asked him for the compatibility:
Hello
I have a Opel Omega B Facelift Saloon (Limousine) 2,5DTI (BMW 6cyl motor, 110kW). Can I install your suspension kit on my car?
Thank you.
And the answer:
hello, i dont know, maybe!? my car was a 4cyl motor...ciao
So if anyone know that the preface and the facelift suspensions are the same, I do not hesitate! They are the part numbers on the auction, they are not the same numbers that the facelift on the irmscher brochure...
-
i may get schooled here but there maybe only differences on where things like the headlight sensor clips on?? i don'T know just geussing but surely someone on here knows if they're compatible
-
I hope that anyone knows but I have only 6 hours, pleaaaaaaaaaase ;D
-
have a look here it's a bit vague but doesn't seem to be any change after 97 but as for the ratings for these springs that's another question as i can imagine these are rated for the 4 pot but i can't find any part numbers to see which model they suit anywhere!!

See the irmscher web site, iirc they list the various models, and seem to run with engine size, the 4 pots, v6s I believe have different part numbers, they will probably fit, but the spring may well be too soft for your engine size causing ride hight issues.
So in short I would say no, not for your TD,which I believe is haeavier than the v engine. And certainly heavier than a 4pot, assuming I have translated the advert correctly they are for a 4 cylinder car....?
But I am sure you could list them over here with out any problems selling on...I would have thought :-/ :y
-
o.k finally have looked up the gutachten for these back springs fine but you need v6 springs for the front (rated at about 100kg difference) unfortunately i have the same problem being an estate i can use the fronts but not the backs! good find though! for front springs you need part no.74703001
-
My engine is a DTI model, so not a V6 but 6cyl in line... Don't know if it's different... So I try to buy or not buy...? :-/
-
otherwise, you can return the product to the seller in 14 or 30 days , or am I wrong :-?
-
Nope! It's a private seller so... No warranty and no returns.
-
Bought them! If they're not compatible, I will sell them here, on the "for sale" section if interest?
-
ok ,will wait news from you ;)
maybe interested
-
they will fit i have no doubt but not the right rating these are only rated to 980 kg and you need 1030 but either way the shocks are worth what you paid alone!

have a look on here

It is dangerous for the car if I mount them?
Mindaz, you have the same car as mine, if it's not suitable for mine, it's not for yours... Or you have another one? :)
-
i would hazard a geuss that these will feel softer due to the extra weight personally i wouldn't say dangerous but they may wear quicker i geuss with the extra weight i geuss it's like having a couple of bags of cement extra over your front axle! if you do want to sell them i'll buy them off you then i would only need to find the rears!! but as these are usually in sets may be hard to find just rears

Dany, but you don't really know is it suitable for you , maybe it will fit in your car :y
yes, we have the same 2.5 DTI saloon motor ;)
-
Normally the seller will go by Opel to ask if I can install them on my car or not... Then, if I don't want them, he will refound me OR I can buy them anyway and then sell them here... We will see so...
I have bought a set of Irmy door sills covers from him too ^^

Very lucky this time no? ::)
-
well thats a good result!!, in Austria you wouldn't be allowed to put them on as you wouldn't get passed if all the numbers e.t.c didn't match and any changes must be authorised and on your papers over here, it's really strict to change to a different motor i would have to put it on a rolling road and thenhave it authorised by the official testing station
-
Yep! Very strict... Here in Belgium, it's not so different but a bit coolest on the MOT control...so if I have a TUV certificate with the parts, the car can pass generally without problems.
-
what i posted earlier (yesterday) is the TUV for these springs from the irmscher site so if you carry that with you and they don't look too close you'll be o.k! but you certainly have the luck with this guy you've got a couple of bargains
