Hi guys,
I recently changed the Xenon bulbs in my 2.5TD with original OEM parts. They were both working fine and looked a LOT brighter and gave far more light on the back roads.
However, the offside bulb has now decided to act up. When I turn the headlights on, both the bulbs fire up in the typical dull-to-bright procedure that Xenon's do. But when the offside bulb reaches it's temperature, it instantly goes out - every time like clockwork!
Does anyone have or has had this problem? All help would be appreciated.

Try swopping the ballast packs but leave the bulbs where they are. If the problem moves to the other side you've answered it ;) :y

I didn't even think of that. I'll try that when (if) the rain stops. Are the ballast packs an expensive part?

Not from a breaker on here. BE WARNED they carry a very high voltage, disconnect the battery then switch on the lights (daft as that sounds) and leave it while you get a cuppa. When you're done, switch the light switch off and reconnect the battery :y

Ok thanks for the advice mate. :y
Have you had this problem as well then? Or is it just that it's a fairly common fault? I kinda wish I didn't bother changing them over in the first place now.
