You'll find that most of the jobs have been done by someone on here who's willing to give advice and the Haynes manual lies anyway ;D

Tell me about it  >:(

I did the inlet / exhaust manifold gasket on my Discovery and used the Haynes book of Lies for the torque settings on the manifold bolts. I thought they seemed a touch high, but hey, if it's in the Haynes manual it must be right, right?

No. I now need to whip the head off and send it off to have thread insert machined into it after I stripped a few of them. B@stards!

...anyway , my Haynes Repair Manual ends at page 256 (Bodywork and Fittings 11-31).
Can anyone send me the rest, or give me a link where I can download it (I mean without any registration and/or payment :O)

We do not allow links to what you ask.

The only link we will allow for downloading Haynes manuals is http://www.haynes.co.uk

Somewhat unkind, although I did laugh, back in the day, when Haynes advised how to replace coolant in a Beetle. ;D ;D ;D

PS I met John Haynes recently and reminded him of it!
