Title: Engine Fires up, then dies ??

Hi,
Went to community centre this evening, parked 2 hours, came out to go home, engine turns over briskly fires up immediately then just dies.

Never a moments trouble in 4 years, ran perfectly earlier this evening, used scanner, no codes and none pending.

Had to leave car to get lift home. go back in morning.

Any ideas folks ??

If no codes then I would suspect the Crank sensor .. about the only thing that kills the V6 with no warning ... :(

Try starting it with MAF disconnected mate - if it runs/revs replace the MAF!! :y
