Im going to have a look at a 3.2 Elite tomorrow. Is there any pointers I should be looking for? :y

On top of the usual checks you would do when buying a car.
I would do the pedal trick and see what codes are stored, if any.

You also want to see receipts for a recent cambelt kit change, they need replacing every 40000 miles or 4 years, service history, check inner edges of front tyres for wear, tramlining when driving, cam covers for leaks.

Thinking about it some more ;D Make sure all the doors lock and unlock with the remote and that there are no warnings come up on the GID/CID, check the CD cartridge ejects/plays ok.
Once the football has finished you'll probably get a better response ;D

check what the back end feels like when going over bumps and uneven ground. If you feel a bump that seems to travel from one side of car to the other, it could indicate the rear shocks are shot - check for leaking on the shocks aswell. Self levelling ones aren't cheap as i found out!

Thanks for the info, I will look at the issues, the cam belt is a must ;D
