Title: oil cooler?
Post by: mr ICE man on 25 November 2010, 16:25:10
ive been loosing water for a while and kept a close eye on it,looked today and have noticed mayo on the oil filler cap and oil in the coolant,i dont have the filler neck on.
ive also been having problems with the car not reving properly and oil leaking from somewhere at the rear of the engine and causing smoke, ive had the cam covers done by elite pete and i dont think it is those leaking the oil so..
1st question,is the cooler foobard?
2nd do the 2.5 have oil coolers?
3rd how much
4th is it the head gasket?

It'll make a mess of your cooling system and could potentially block heater matrix

You can drive it, but it not advisable. Eventually you will clog up the whole cooling system with oil,
creating a lot more work to flush it all out.
