Title: Drivers door door button
Post by: skyblue on 29 November 2010, 13:22:06
The drivers door button looks like its sticking when I use the fob to lock /unlock it....hence why im useing the key now to lock/unlock it. All the other door buttons popup/down without any problem at all . Before I   start taking off door cards etc is there  easier way to resovle this problem???

Mine did the same and I nearly resigned myself to having to change the solenoid but I sprayed some WD40 carefully down the sides of the button and it magically started working again! Been working for over six months now. Worth a try but taking the door card off isn't that hard a job. See maintenance guide.

Want a replacement microswitch for it?

Kevin

EDIT: Or did we have this conversation? Mullered during removal? ::)

Ah, yes, I will put it in the pile for you...   ...microswitch tests good with a meter (both of them)...
