Title: auto box problems
Post by: trem on 29 November 2010, 14:02:27
i have a problem with my auto box, i have the warning light on the dash after 10 mins of drivin, also the lights indicatin wat gear i am in jumps around and i no longer have use of the snow button.  i haven't checked or changed the oil, but the box was fine until this morning when i got stuck in the snow, and revved it up to free myself.   i dont have access to tech2 to read any codes.
Any ideas on what it could be.

Thanks

Trem

Not the best weather for it but symptoms are synonymous with a dirty selector switch. http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1267956397

Like any electrical switch it will fail when it's ready to. It doesn't need a reason.

Definitely symptoms of a failed switch.
