I'm the proud new owner of an '03 2.6 CDX and really enjoying it! However, the 'lock/alarm' button on my key fob doesn't work (unlock works fine). So I follow the manual process, turn the key once to the rear and then turn it again. But - sometimes the alarm still goes off after 4/5mins. Any brainwaves, or am I just not deft enough (I did say deft!). Many thanks for any tips. David

one of the most common reasons for the alarm to go off on its own is due to the bonnet switch. As people work on the car, the bracket gets bent over so that the bonnet no longer reaches to push the plunger down enough. Try unplugging it completely and see what happens, ............ hopefully nothing :y

Many thanks for this tip - I'll give it a try.
