Some may recall have had a mystery misfire which began the minute I replaced the crank sensor with a pattern one, replaced that with a GM one with no difference, cue new leads and plugs again with no joy!
Eventually replaced the DIS which has cured it, Was this just coincidence or can a new crank sensor affect the DIS in some way?

Wouldn't have thought so, though I guess its (remotely) possible it caused the ECU to overdrive the LT side of the coils... :-/
I'm thinking more that the DIS was on its way, and you messing around in the vacinity to unplug crank sensor possibly finished it off??
