Title: Opelfix or Vauxfix ?
Post by: jules on 17 January 2008, 11:32:32
How do I clearly identify if my car has the Vauxhall child seat preparation ?

I believe it was optional and had to be ordered not fitted by default.

Cheers

If you mean the front passenger seat.......i believe you have to fit a vx child seat.......as i think this turns off the front passenger airbag.....tho i stand to be corrected........how it does it i havent a clue  :-/

My manual says there is a transponder in the child seat which is detected by an (optional) module under the seat to disable the airbag. I believe there's supposed to be an indicator light near the rear view mirror if this is the case.
