Yes on the NCDC 2015, but it had to have Telematics unit, which took up 99% of the glovebox

It can be done, but you would need GSM Ariel, with loom. I'm not a huge fan of the NCDC units, they are very fragile. If you don't have Bose an after market blue tooth Unit would be best   :)

Only fragile if not manhandled by people don't know what they are doing - ie, yanking on the facia to remove it, rather than using proper remval tools ;)

An aerial is dead easy to fit - eg tax disc aerial.

If you want telematics, and the glovebox, fit the telematic in the Bose shelf.

In addition to the NCDC 2015 there's the CCRT 2008.
That's a 4cd autochanger with phone built into the HU. The sim card is inserted into the HU behind a panel which can be removed. This unit works with a screen that looks like a GID. I imagine it'd be easier to fit than an NCDC unit.

CCRT2008 is the double DIN version of the CCRT700 unit fitted to 1999 Elites and CDX's

It takes the CCRT display (a half height MID, with extra area for phone info)

I would say they (NCDC and CCRT) are probably both around the same amount of hassle to 'upgrade' to from a ccr2006 type setup - both require replacing displays, modifying looms, running extra wiring etc.

Telematics for NCDC may be rocking horse poo, but CCRT2008 aren't common either ;).  I have a nice CCRT200 sat right in front of me right now...

And with panel removed (as Joshwyatt was talking about)...
