Just bought a 3.2 omega v6 that has been twin turbocharged. Pushing out 340bhp and goes like an absolute rocket. Did they make these from the facrtory?

yeah how do i put them on here. ive just been told it was done by turbo technics 3 years ago by the previous owner. seems to suit the car

You have to host the images on-line somewhere (photobucket etc) then link them to here.

I think it was a conversion that Courtney Turbo generally did for NI Police....

Courtney did a single turbo job which in the usual courtney way didnt work well.
A twin turbo is very interesting, it would need some minor mods to the water jacket and cooling, stronger rods, low compression pistons etc.....
Pictures would be good, realy interested to see it.

Raised it to 235 BHP so very low pressure.

You've got 168 mate, in a car that weighs 1.7 tonne. I've got 115 in a car that weighs 1.2 tonne. Work out the power/weight ratio Bozo ;D

Thought Mark had educated you on that. It's a GM engine...unfortunately. Wish it was a fiat.

Nope, 3.6 straight six twin turbo and 377 BHP out the box.
Now, I do know of an Omega GLS with Lotus Carlton running gear. I wonder if it's that one.
Does it have a single wiper DTM style? If so then it's the LC one. Reason being, the engine got in the way of the standard windscreen wiper motor so it had to be modded to fit.

You know mate you are on the button they were 3.6 i'm not doing very well at this never mind.
Dont know what it looks like non of us have seen it yet and i have seen pics of the one with the lotus engine in but did'ent know what modle it was.

Courtenay Turbo bought the rights to the various kits from Turbo Technics, so TT haven't made any Vauxhall kits since.

Courtenay Turbo bought the rights to the various kits from Turbo Technics, so TT haven't made any Vauxhall kits since.

Yep, I've seen the Courtney single Turbo conversion too, but never a twin turbo.
I know Vauxhall did think about a twin turbo C25XE V6 for the Calibra and even produced some manifolds (A 'certain' parts catalogue listed them) and associated bits but that's as far as it went.
