yet more madness in this ever changing world of ours....

the guy saved her life for crying out loud, if you do a job like his you accept the risks that come with it....

next thing we know there will be a H&S statement saying firefighters can't go near a fire, or that police cannot go near any form or violence....

where does it end

Of course the man needs to be punished. Without endangering anybody else, he used his initiative to save a life.
You just can't do that and get away with it in this country.

I hate to be negative here, but the "fire attenders" in the Southampton and Eastleigh areas are literally just that. They do not fire fires, they just sit and watch the building burn. This has happened twice now, once a factory on an industrial estate, and the other a University office block.
