Whats it like if you unplug the MAF?
If you can get the codes read as well, that would help
-
Where abouts are you? Many of us here have code reading capabilities, hopefully someone is local to you :y

hi all i have a code reader but there are no faults codes.when i plug in and get the sensor details it looks like the maf is working it did show the volume of air and it did change when was running well.when i bought it the only code was a pending mil fault.the bulb had been removed.replaced the bulb no faults anywhere.im in whiston liverpool. :-?

Only fit a genuine Vx cam sensor as the pattern parts last all but 5 minutes! Try PM'ing andyc on here for one at Trade Club price :y

yes oh yes the baby running well.i found a vacum pipe broken on the LPG system so the manifold was drawing to much air.replaced the cam sensor and then found that when the engine is switched from petrol to LPG the cam sensor shows up as a p code.possible because the petrol injectors are turn off and the LPG injectors are turned on.what a headache all sorted thanks for your advise

HELP the engine will die at 1500 revs.you can rev the engine to 2000 and feather the clutch.is it possible that the spark dis could be breaking down or could it be a sensor or mas air flow.this is now doing my head in help ps its a 2.2 16v ecotec :'( :'(
-
Try, as TB suggested earlier, unplug the MAF sensor and see how it runs.
-
just unpluged the maf but still runs the same. the rough running is on petrol and lpg so i can rule out injectors
-
Check all vacuum connections are secure especially on the lpg system to inlet manifold. :-/

hi there ive checked the vacum pipes and they all look ok no splits.the mas was disconnected with the same fault present.the egr plug was unpluged from the egr valve with the same results.bye the way this was done 1 at a time.ive changed the plugs and put a new coil pack onto it as 1 of the rubber boot was dameaged.the fault is still there.there are no fault codes comeing up either HELP

But you still might have a leak. Get some carb cleaner spray, let engine idle, spray the cleaner around the various vac pipe vicinities, if the engine note/speed changes, you`ve found the leak

sorted found the fault to be dodge wireing on the lpg system.repaired that then found that the muppet who had fitted or repaired the lpg vapourizser had put the water pipes to cool and not heat so it was freezeing up.all sorted now thanks for your good advice alex :y
