My next door neighbour has asked me if he can borrow my Omega for towing their horse box to the odd event, as he usually has to hire vehicles, but ive said he can use my car as long as he pays the petrol! Their next one is in Devon area in Spring.
He wants to know how much in fuel it will cost him though from Leeds area, LS6 to be precise, down to Devon and the Abbots Bickington area, postcode EX22 to be precise.
how much will this cost in my Omega? Its the 3.1L V6 Elite model that I have.

I thought yours was a 2.5...

;) The MPG would be stable and you`d surely have a small increase in horsepower during the journey.....I don`t want to nag, but don`t forget to take a jumper with you! ;D
-
and if its a race horse you will need to get that roll cage fitted.

Its that really rare Omega 'D', which was fabled to have had the 3.1, and some how they managed to build from Rocking Horse droppings....
-
to give you a rough idea i get 30 mpg from my v6 towing my mrs big fat arse round the m25 :y
-
im sure they are a 2 door soft top aswell ::) ::)
-
It will cost at least £300 :(
Adding sugar to the system works well on a long run (about half a kilo), but make sure you dont turn the engine off untill you get there :y

Don't think the horsebox does any miles per gallon but then, like the car, the horsebox is imaginary.
Must ask, have you ever read Alan Sugars autobiography? I believe there would be a copy in your local library.

At a guess from Leeds to Devon is 250 miles, plus towing a horse box. I would say a full tank there and a full tank back.
