Title: omega v6 cutting out now wont start

Hi guys i have a 2.5 v6 2001 2 weeks ago it started cutting out then when i got it going again had to keep the revs up to keep it moving it cut out 8 times in 7 miles the strange thing is that it was running perfect when i got home now not starting at all oh and there was black around the tail pipe area cheers and merry xmas

Try the paperclip test and tell us what codes come up.

2001, that will be the "Pedal Trick"  rather than the "Paperclip Trick"?

My bad, its a 2.5 not a 2.6!!  So paperclip it is.
