Title: 2.5td centre exhaust and rear box prices wow

Hi all,

Went to get my tracking done, whilst up on ramp i spotted centre exhaust was split and rotten close to rear box joint, so thought i would ask how much from them for centre and rear fitted, Wow with a bloody capital W lol, £250 fitted, are you on drugs i asked lol.

so checked round a few places and even supply only someone wanted £142 for the centre section,

anyway incase anyone is interested, i use online automotive for some parts as some are even dearer from them, so shop around,  they sold me a centre GM183 with 2yr warranty with new clamp and postage for £71.14 so hell of a saving, rear box GM184 is £29.90 + £9.95 postage, quoted approx £90 for rear from quite a few others, so double Wow there too.

it is a good site just register for free and then you can enter your registration and it only shows parts available for your motor.

Genuine part at TC price is £67 for centre section, £58.58 - £78.45 (depending on age and body type).  All + VAT.

That makes the superior genuine part worthwhile...

Yup, they list back boxes here, must have central centre boxes as well

found it now, looks good prices, gutted as i could have had rear boot mat, centre and rear exxhaust for £80 + postage around £18.95 they said, damm it lol

I seem to remember that the online auto system I bought had enormous bolt holes in the floating plate that holds it to the cat section.  Made it very difficult to allign and connect properly.

Other than that similar to the eternal systems.

well the bloody back box has just gone lol should have changed back when i did the middle,

looks like off C.E.S in stoke in the morn to get one,

great start to my 2 weeks off lying on my back in the snow changing a flaming back box.
